Anne Marie Duff

Anne-Marie Duff has been an English actress, narrator, and writer for over 30 years. Duff began her television career during the late 1990s following her graduation from Drama Centre London. She was on the show Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff, a British actress, was born in Chiswick on the 8th of October, 1970. Anne-Marie Duff (8 October 1970) was an English stage-and-screen actress. The actress first became famous as Fiona Gallagher during the UK's Shameless series. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her next role. She also was Queen Elizabeth I and the main character in From Darkness, a television show in the year 2015. Duff had roles such as Enigma 2001 The Magdalene Sisters French Film 2008 The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I fall asleep (2015) and Suffragette. Duff was nominated to win BAFTA awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress as well as Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that she received the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has included performances on the theater, on television and in radio with equal aplomb. The actress gained a lot of attention for her role as Fiona Gallagher in the British comedy-drama show Shameless as well as Queen Elizabeth I in television miniseries The Virgin Queen.
